    EK I Good or not??

    I thought this cross was good? Someone pointed out to me that it is Not?

                For clarity, are we all agreeing this is a 'War Time' Souval or a 'Post-War' Souval?

                One is better than the other!


                P.S. Any chance it could be an Orth core?

                      Is the white residue from some sort of cleaner/ polish? Is that something people clean off with say some warm water or would people leave it in place?

                          It could be anything from dust, to oxidisation, to plaster from when the last owner renovated his house.

                          Personally I'd keep water well away from an EK. The core is (usually) iron and you're asking for trouble if you wet it.

                          If the dust is loose you could use gentle compressed air to remove it. Anything more than that you do at your own risk
