EK2 Manufacture Two?

What are opinions of these two EK's, I think the first may be a manufacturer "24"? The second is not.

I would go along with cross being a 24 .
Cross 2 is a nice S&L first frame with 2nd core .

Well the last cross looks like an unmarked Rettenmaier - 16 EK2 . It has a S&L core . Any close up of the area circled ?

Yes, the first appears to be a '24', judging by that large frame.

Oposit : S&L core with a possible Rettenmaier frame if it has the corner chip . Cannot tell from your picture if it has that chip . That is why I need the close up .
