    Schinkels

Here is my Schinkel collection and I noticed that I spelled Meybauer wrong after the picture was taken, will correct. I put my EKII Schinkels in a new case as the single case was getting crowded. I think that I have all of the different types. Jim

      Jim.

      Wonderful collection.

As a tip, there was a templade on makers provided by a member here , you could save it and print them and add it, they look great.

Cant really remember the thread but maybe someone remembers?

      Daniel.

Could we have some closeups on the SB Meybauer? Is it one of the known three that has been appeared on the forum?

maybe you will need to find their "1914" counterparts to display with in the future ?

Top notch Jim I see a few you are missing, but that's what keeps the hunt so fun.

One that is not shown is my Schinkel-B which is in the case with my round 3s. Jim

                            Hi Jim,

Yes, despite the name the Schinkel-B is not a Schinkel at all, but a Round 3 variant.

I don't see any of the various Assmann/L/54 EK2 variants listed there -- two different cores, magnetic or non-magnetic, so three or four different variants of the 2nd Class. Not exactly sure which cores were made with which materials.

The Assmann/L/54 EK1s also come with a couple of different cores, magnetic and non-magnetic again, then pinback and screwbacks of each -- honestly I don't know how many variants exist but I would say a maximum of eight possibilities.

Deumer's got magnetic and non-magnetic cores with EK1s, not sure which you have there.

                            I don't see a "straight-9" EK1 pinback or screwback listed either.

Your collection is really super, don't get me wrong. But I just see a couple holes if you are going for totally complete.
                            Best regards,
                            Streptile
