EK 2 spange OK?

Good afternoon gentlemen,

I just purchased this EK 2 spange with EK2 1914 because it looked like a good one to me (Deumer if I'm not mistaken). But ...coming from a guy that taught his L/4 spange (robot fake?) was a good looking bird too for well over 30 years I would feel a lot more comfortable with more experienced opinions

I sure like it and I was fairly sure it was good but to be honest I wasnt so sure who the maker was. What I find a bit weird is how different those birds can look for products coming from the same manufacturer. I know they changed dies as they got worn and I also appreciate that they can also look different depending on how they were "finished" (trimmed) but this full size version sure doesnt look much like the supposively Deumer prinzen version (picts attached) I got some months ago...Anyway this one has a nice "been there" look and came with the EK 2 so I can always grab another if I see another one with a closer "family resemblance" to my prinzen.

Thats another thing those beautiful Juncker spanges have going for them: they all have that unmistakable "family look" to them! Maybe one day...
