It has always nagged me that the (presumably) sizeable and prestegious firms of Godet, Juncker and Deschler appear to have produced comparatively so few EK1's (and EK2's for that matter)....certainly when compared with your Deumers, S&L's, Mayers and Zimmermanns..
It is my understanding that their were 16 firms commisioned to make official award pieces, and yet - based on what is around today - these 3 'big boys' can not account for even 1/16th of the output BETWEEN them.
Anyone care to shed some light/hypothesis as to why this might be?
