I was watching military history channel last nite about spies during ww2. They were talking about a guy who was a double agent. Long story short the guy was so good at what he done they said he was to be awarded a gold iron cross. Is this a award that really excess or just some bs that sounded good? I knew if anyone knew it would be you guys so what's the truth?

Maybe that's what they were saying and I just misunderstood. That makes alot more sense but at the time I was picturing a gold plated iron cross lol. But your probably rite and it make sence for sure. Thanks for clearing it up I was having a brain fart I guess.Comment

Maybe the KcKVK in gold?
Goering first Grand-Cross was gold framed but that was changed very quickly.
Just sounds like a piss poor research on the part of the TV producers.
