2 X DKiG from the soil in former POW camp

I was lucky enough to add these pieces to my collection; found in the last weeks in a former POW camp in Europe , I thought it was interesting to see a DKig in pieces . If anyone has an appropriate swastica or backing plate for the part complete one i would be very interested .

Hard to tell from these pictures, I think I can see a mm 20 on the pin which means it could be made by Zimmermann.

Waffen, Great stuff to have in a collection.. truly good looking medals considering the story. I like them!

Keep the stuff as it is! Interesting story and IMO the badges are more valuable this way, than if you restore them.

Restore the damaged DKIG. Just my opinion.

Leave them as they are. There is also a lot to be learned by looking at the insides of them.
