Don't know for sure and it may be an optical illusion, but to emphasize my point, compare the leaves below at ten and two o'clock. Do they look the same? Not to me.

That - the seration in the leaf - in peticular I noticed right away , and asked about different dies . To me the front surface texture and the markings on the back appear different ... as mentioned just could be the picture .

        I agree...

the front of OL seems identical as good models (page 255 of the KC of IC - D.Maerz).

        I'm waiting an expertise.

I'll tell you if it's a fake or a good OL.

I am not an expert, even though your comments are relevant ... I'm worried now!

Don't get me wrong, yours look very good and have more similarities with good OL than Ben's/Mine in terms of their shape and form in some areas. Just pointing out what seem to be some obvious differences. Once again, lighting and wear may be the culprit. I don't know. Perhaps it is mine that are bad LOL

Get them in someone's hands who knows about these things and can provide an expert opinion. Good luck!

You asked for my opinion via a PM.

I judge them as an original set based up on the pictures. But to be sure 100% you have to have them in hand.

                            Pieter.
btw the reverse is not to be taken for comparising the die , as the contours are hand finished.
                            SUUM CUIQUE ...

When I was to Kassel, I have other OL in my hands, for me, it's authentic ! (the same shape as others)

For Helmut Weitze, it's good !!
