Postwar Souval cross with later S&L Oakleaves (or perhaps a copy of the later S&L Oakleaves).

Postwar Souval KC marked L/58 ( and not L/56 ) ... IMO the OLS could be 1957 issue style ( I can see the small "o" mark on the back ).

Both the KC and OLS are collectable in their own way ... .

Nice item for the new category of collectors: the fake collectors!

                Hi Ludwig,

I understand your point of view and admittedly you are 100% correct, but there are collectors ( and I'm one of them ) who collect postwar Souval items.
The Souval KC's ( and some other badges ) are a nice substitute in the collection for those who cannot afford the real thing ... still they are postwar made ( and can be called copies ).

As for the 1957 set of OLS, I'm well aware of the controversy ... there is no such thing as a pair of 1957 issued OLS ... correct.
But these look like they were made well within that time period, hence the 1957 issue style.

No problem at all! People may collect just what they want.
