Really great stuff. To be honest I bookmarked right away. The clarity of pics, the easy descriptions etc etc make it so easy and nice (at least for me!) to understand. Especially as someone who is trying to refine my knowledge and still struggles to 100% identify things.

One comment and anyone can correct me if I am wrong but the Juncker Wide Frame EKI typically (or maybe always?) has the die flaws in the outer inside corners. I'm off to work so can't dig up the thread but I believe Trevor made a diagram or posted some pics a while back talking about the outside of the inner corners having the die flaws, which can also help identify that specific Juncker.

Anyhow, I love the work and the pics are fantastic, so thank you for putting forth so much time and effort to make it happen!

          Wow, that's a great site!
The only bad point I can see is that all the crosses have been digitally denazified. It's a pity as the swastikas may be different depending on the maker. But I understand that in Germany law is very restrictive towards certain matters.

That is our member 5tefan's site -- very nice photos and a handy quick reference for 1939 EK1s.
              Best regards,

                Many Thanks for the flowers

This page make a lot of fun and
I have a lot of ideas what I want to add to this page.

It will takes some more times to realize all functions.

At the moment I'm working on a quick book you can see on the first page and parallele I work on EK1-DNA with a selection function for identified unmarked EK1, start with the selection:

                1st Pin or Screwdisc
2nd swelling of the pin: lower / central / upper / no / special
                3rd Pinshape
                4th ...
                5th ... 6th... 7th...etc...

to find out, what maker could be behind the characteristics.

At the moment it's very hard to isolate the parts digital (I call it DNA), to get a better understanding of the different pin-shapes! In the following exemple you will see that some pins looks nearly the same without the catch, but if you compare the complete length of the pin you could see partial rounded surfaces or different shapes, which will be hard to see in the assembled condition.

lower & central swelling of the pin:

upper & no swelling of the pin:

                special pin form:

                Coming soon

Yup! I knew he always took pics and then sells the crosses, I just never knew WHY or to what end....it all made sense when I saw this site. Had no idea that it even existed lol!

Stefan, can't wait to see what else you do with the site. I really like it! Keep it up bud
