Hi fellow collectors. Please experts in KC in the forum, I would like to know 2 things regarding the RK. Some doubts I have had from the very first moment I began to collect decorations of the III Reich.
1) Why some of these KC's are marked 800 and others are marked 935? It depends on the recipient? Or those with more content of silver were specially manufactured to be bought as a replacement crosses by trägers?
2) All the KC's were awarded with the case? Or only some of them? Those that are being sold with the black case of issue and the intact and untouched ribbon are those found in the workshops of the manufacturers after the war or are from recipients that never wore the cross? I am referring to the minty examples
Thanks in advance!
