    Ek1 L7?

Hi, everyone. This is my first post in this forum, and I have a question. I have been offered what looks like, to me, a very nice EK1. I have tended to stay away from EK's as I know very little about the abundance of fakes out there. I have been studying badges and medals. The only problem I can see on this piece is the pin is marked L7. I was under the impression that these manufacturer marks began at L10 and went on to L63. Is this true? Is there a maker L7? Sorry but I can't post any pictures, which I know makes my post difficult to answer. But mainly I'm just wondering about the mark L7. Thanks for any info you pro's may provide. Greg

No wartime firm used the mark L7, I am curious if it actually says L73 which is a known bogus stamping on repo EK1’s. Ether way run from this piece like the plague. <O</O

O.K. thanks for the info, you just saved me a ton of bucks. Another example of why rookies like me need the resource of this forum. Thanks again, Greg
