EK Ist Class Deumer?

Hi guys,

I am new here, but not new to militaria I have been collecting British stuff, a few years ago I acquired an Iron Cross which I got for...pennies. I just recently decided to research if it is real or not. I classified it as a Deumer, but I am not sure f it is authentic. It sticks to magnets, the black part seems to move around just a tiny bit and the edges seem like they have a seam right in the middle.

Any comments on authenticity?

It also came with a ring with a swastika on it, which I have no idea about. Here are both of them:

wow...really?

I am shocked. Yes pennies, 5 bucks with the ring. Owner thought it was a cheap repro because it was not pristine and to me it seemed odd, as in..this might be an original. Ehh now to wonder if to sell it or not, need to put some money into the Willys jeep fund and at the same time not sure if I want to get rid of a piece of history.
