    EK1 1914 [L/11] WW2 Edition ;-)

    Here is a very nice vaulted EK1 1914 [L/11] WW2 Edition ;-)
    Usually all 3 pieces EK1 are vaulted by hand, but this EK1 looks like in house vaulted. What is your opinion ;-)

    Hi Stefan,

    I agree it looks vaulted by the factory. I do not think think LdO restrictions applied to replacement 1914 EKs made during WWII. I think you will never find an L/ marked 1939-core EK1 that has been factory vaulted, or with a two-piece screwback attachment (for example). But with a 1914-core LdO EK1, these things are possible.

    For example, you can tell this is a 1914 Juncker just by the hardware and the vault on an L/12-marked cross:
