Hi there, i just got a nice Iron Cross, im very very very new at this i got it as a gift, it says 1939 on the front and 1813 on the back, the ring that holds the ribbon has a small number that says 123, im wondering what this number means? that would be great, i will post pictures once i get an account

You have a second WW Iron Cross second class.
The N° 123 is the factory number of the firm who made this cross.
This number 123 was attributed to the firm: "Beck, hassinger & Co, Strassburg.
