Seriously Peter production who knows ?? But issue of the EK 2 was certainly post war i.e mine sweepers.

With all the propaganda flying about and how Germany could still win, it wouldn't suprise me if production ran up until the last few days of the war in parts of Germany with all the confusion etc And then post war for the occupation troops........will we ever know the real truth....I doubt it !

One maker did make orginal EK´s after the war. Rudolf Souval i even have what i think is made during 60´s a needel pin Souval whit other types off frames and markt L/58. Still the core is the normal Souval type.
