EK2 Maybauer Variant?

Hi Guys.

I picked this one up as I thought it had an interesting core.

At first it looks as a normal Maybauer, but the date on the reverse is not what we normal see?

I think it's a very late cross, as the frame has many flawes, from the very worn dies. Dyt Maybauer switch to another core late war?

It still has the huge swaz.

Mine seems to be the type "2". And having the dull paint.

Yes.

It's hard to find a Meybauer EKII with good definition to the beading of the frame, much easier to find on the EKI's, IMO.
