I totally agree with you Brett, over the last 12 months there has been too many Souval EK’s popping up with all different types of cores, literally dozens of mint 100 marked EK2’s and BH Meyer pieces. Where are they all coming from?<O</O

true.. some time ago 100's were rare crosses - now - that's the cross I see more often than any other...
If they can make a fake rolex for $5 - looking pretty good... whats the problem to make an 3 piece construction cross ???
      hard times are coming...
about this 231 cross - I share Peters doubts - frame looks kinda strange... and ageing is not that 100% naturall looking...
      just a thought...

This brings up a question. Where do Kai Winkler and Detlev, find all their crosses ?

        Cheers.

          Exactly Dez,

          100 marked EK2's and B.H.Mayers!

They were the two I was hinting at.

          Regards,
          Brett

              Regarding the packet.

Looks like one of those 'kraft' paper types to me.

As I've said on previous threads; these packets are everywhere you look from eBay to dealers and in my opinion has only been around for the last 24 months or so.

In response to a 'Wanted' advert on the estand I have had a two members contact me within the last fortnight re: selling these packets.

Both had acquired them within the last 24 months.

They may well be genuine but I've not heard one being acquired before this time period.

              Regards ...
