    Engraved EKI Opinons Needed

Hi Guys, I have been offered this first class iron cross with a jewelers engraving on the back. It reads "Rolf or Ralf Lorf" I cant seem to make out the first name.
and is dated 6-7-41. Im pretty sure the cross is good, but I really want to make sure the engraving is authentic and period done. It comes with a COA from Gailen David but it never hurts to ask anyways. Thanks for the help.

            Yes, it is a fake.
For some reason this style of fake is commonly found with engraving on the reverse.

            Regards - Danny

Two rights don't make a fake, like two fakes don't make a right.

                  Jason,
Good call on asking first. What was the seller asking? This is actually a pretty poor fake, make sure to check back here in the future. We all learn one step at a time!

                      $35 would be too much.
