I was just browsing thru some dealer pages in order to find someone who would be willing to take my savings

Well, I ran across a very interesting listing at the Weitze shop.

It is a complete sample case from S&L containing all kinds of badges and medals they've produced during the war....to my surprise it also contains a DKiG....?

I've read quite a few about the S&L DK's, but it seems like the conclusion is always "not period made"....


Do you guys think someone added the DK to the case after the war?



Whats your thoughts on it?

So you differentiate between the marked ones and the unmarked ones...

The marked ones being good, period made and the unmarked ones being post war?

Just in my opinion, Alex. The unmarked ones seem way more plentiful than the marked ones.

Now all we have to do is believe these boards are period and have been together for over 65 years and no one's added or removed items since.
