    EK1 case

    Hello
Can anyone please tell me what make this EK case is and what make EK belongs in it?http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...d.php?t=560908
    Thanks

    Hi Frank,

Interestingly, no makers are currently known for EK cases as far as I know, and there are any number of EK1s that could properly reside in that case.

This is no science, but in my opinion the correct EK1 for that case would probably be PKZ marked (definitely not L/ marked, and probably not unmarked), and would not be a K&Q 65 or Zimmermann 6 (two makers who used specific and different cases in my opinion).

Maybe someone else has an idea of which maker(s) used this specific case. I think B.H. Mayer may have, and perhaps Zimmermann 20/Godet 21 also.
    Best regards,
    Streptile

      Hello
I have a minty 26 set. Not the common Mayer, but that one with S&L pin and W&L catch. I believe it 's a late war case for Mayer EKIs.

I add a couple of pics of my set.
I can not assure that no one put them together because I bought it just few months ago in Germany but the set looks untouched to me.
