The shape of the rivets, wreath, hinge, pin and maker mark are all good for Deschler. The catch is not the garden variety Deschler 4 rivet catch plate, but has been posted on two other original Deschlers on this forum. Do you have a better close-up of the "1941" plate, wreath, as well as weight and dimensions?

Hi Cook,

It's a typical Deschler cross , later type in KupAl ( light version ) with round catch plate variant. Often in these types you can see the number "1" half done
