    Early DKiG

    Hi All,
this one was offered from a seller like a copy, but I think it is a nice early 10 rivets Deschler.
I never had such DK so I please for your opinion?
    Thank you!
    Best regards
    Sasha

I was bidding on it ( as a copy ) but it went for about 650 Euro ( or close to that ).
My knowledge on it is very poor, so I did not continue with the bidding.

If its a fake, its a damn good one for sure .

From the back is nice blue/black patina, from the front is cleaned on my opinion.
I did not find nothing wrong with it, number 1939 is typical for deschler crosses.
The weins on the wreath have clear definition, swastika on the top sits nice inside lower indent.
            The DK weight 65.60 g.

I like the front side or better the wreath but I don't like the back, pin and hinge are unknown to me and the patina looks artificial.

                1939? Or "1941"?

                    Hi

If you look at the wreath date 1941 is not in sync to the star and i have never seen that to a original so far

Thank you for opinion, but the pin and hinge are the same as in Dietrich book... Also the weight, with a very little tolerance.
Patina looks untuched, it is the same like I have ben seen on untuched 4 rivets Deschler crosses.

On my knowledge is this typical for an early crosses, sometimes is also date little left, on this one is right.

Take a look at the rivets.
                          They are not ok.
They are a bit small and looks bad.
                          Nice but a copy.
Same but 6 rivet Deschler is just to see in a german forum.

ok if it 's so, I 'm not at home and I can see this type on the book.
Edit: I 'm talking with a friend at phone he has the book and is telling me that hinge and pin are not really same as you have sayd, just similar !
