    Gustav Brehmer pair.

Hello, here are another 2 of my latest pick ups.
A pair of Gustav Brehmer mmd 13 ek2s. One with the hakenkreuz on a plynth and the other the standard type. Bought these from a fellow member. Thanks Michal. First up the standard cross which has the maker mark stamped on the reverse of the ring.
I hope you like this pair.

    regards John

            The pair together.
The dates on the cores seem to be the same, only the Hakenkreuz is different.
            Thanks for looking John

Nice pair of Brehmers - John .

So otherwise identical - both could have been made on the same day .
And then a question .... the pedestaled Swastika ..... any purpose or reason known why this was done ???

Hi Douglas, good question. In all honesty, I dont know. Maybe the press didnt have as much pressure at that point????? Different press? I dont know, just a guess. Maybe some of the more experienced will know the answer?

                    regards John
