Thanks Gregorio, the badges that I posted for reference are from a badges publication and are in a private collection(or in several ones) but I hope to get as many variants I can in the future, they are really nice awards!

    Best Regards,

            Some more information:

Regarding the loose central piece on the picture of variations above. That is not variation, it is just a loose central piece. I have seen one with screw back, but all these are post war made from scrap parts.

            Regarding the award criteria:

Nord-, Lapplands-, and Eismeerfront badges are unofficial and commercial commemorative badges sold to soldiers throughout the area of AOK Norwegen. Badges were sold in canteens and even soldiers were hired as representatives. Badge were often worn without permission and that has created some kind of illusion that they would have been awarded. All three basic types are to be found with white- and black enamel on center and each with two different years.

            Northfront 1941-1942 and 1941-1943

            Lappland's and Eismeerfront 1941-1943 and 1941-1944

Most of the badges can be found in silvered tombac and in white metal. The overall quality of enamel is also better in earlier tombac variations.

There has been rumours about reproductions, but as some later badges made in white metal have been found in small quantities (100-200) from original seller's stocks in mint condition - and with the lower quality of the later award, they are occassionally viewed with Suspicion .

At this moment I have not came across any reproduction made in quantities, though most likely, this will be amomg the First Finnish badges to be faked. Some of the most odd looking specimens may be post war private purchases.

I have all four Nordfront variations and one Eismeerfront.

                  Here it is.

Am still looking for the other Eismeerfront and all four Lapplandfront versions... long road ahead of me.
