Could I get some advice on this War Merit Cross it is unmarked, I am thinking of buying it but cant tell if it's the real thing. Can anyone help on this?

Looks good to me But wait for people with more experience than I to answer. Is the catch and hinge plate molded on the badge or is it soldered on?

Yes that particular type of pin and hinge is characteristic of an S&L piece. <O</O

This might well be the first genuine piece of WW2 German militaria I have had an opportunity to buy, the same guy is selling an EK2 so I might have to get your opinions on that as well.
