If you could only own one German Cross, from which manufacture would it be and why? I will give my own preferences later.<O</O

For me a heavy Deschler Shape and weight are the reason why!

Definitely a heavy Deschler. No contest.

I do not own many but I think I would pick Steinhauer & Luck.
I once flew in a B-17, B-24, & a B-25. Next, I want to fire an 88 round.

I only have a zimmerman..so I guess I will have to choose that one.
But if I could pick again...I would want a Juncker piece.

...Rath (München) of course, and with the box !

Reason: nobody else seems to want it, so I will take it.

Some very good answers, I think Pieter hit the nail on the head with the German Cross with diamonds, can you imagine one of these on a tunic in a parade through <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" /><ST1Berlin</ST1? The diamonds shining brightly. I quite like the Klein DK’s, generally you can find them in mint condition, although for quality I agree an early 10 rivet Deschler in the small case is very appealing and the quality is top notch. <O</O

I think I will have to agree with Mads a Juncker would be an excellent choice.

I like Deschler pieces, although I must admit a Rath would be nice!
