    EK2 brass core - good or ...

    Hi guys,
is the brass core EK2 known?

I'll show you the cross, but it's not mine.

What it actually does, if it is original?

I would be grateful if you could help me

        Thank you for your statement.

I've just sent an email to German dealers. I'm curious if he could answer me

        Is there a brass-core cross in WW2?

          No one could write.
Today I get the email from the German dealers.

          Guten Tag Herr ...,
das Kreuz stammt von einer Haushaltsauflösung durch einen Händler, der alle Militaria an mich weiterverkauft.
Breite 43,5 mm, Höhe 43,4 mm, Gewicht 18,7 Gramm.
          MfG,
          XXX

          German on english

          Good day, Mr. ...,
the cross comes from a budget resolution by a dealer who sold me all militaria.
Width 43.5 mm, height 43.4 mm, weight 18.7 grams
          Regards,

I would be interested to know Which EK2 manufacturer is less than 43.5 mm.

The cross is a fake from "The Club" (you can see it for sale here). There is no need to investigate it further. Its originality is not in question. Any item over about €40 on that site is a fake, sold as original. It is a criminal site and this cross has no chance.

Sorry to be so blunt but I don't wish to see you waste your time, or to see anyone waste his money.

              Thank you for your informative

Wow, how did you find this site of this cross? or did you watch it long.

I know that this is fake. I just wanted to ask whether it is genuine.

              So the theme is done

No, I saw it only once, a long time ago. But that site has a stock of all their items, all brand new and artificially aged. So when one sells, they replace it with another identical one. I just recognized it as the "Club" type fake.

You can also find this type with Round-3 core, regular core, and 1914 core on the site.

This site is well-known in Imperial circles, as their fakes of pricey German States' awards have fooled a lot of collectors.
                Best regards,

I carry this website in the black list
                  Thank you for everything
I do not understand what you mean by the "club" type fake.

                    Hi Johnny,

The dealer who runs that website also sells tons of fakes on eBay under the name "Raritätensammlerclub," so his site is sometimes called "The Club" for short.

In fact he uses many different names and seller's IDs in order to cheat as many people as possible out of their money. "Raritätensammlerclub" is only one name, but it gave him his nickname.
                    Best regards,

I'd never come across that site before. Had a look and there's some seriously nasty stuff on there. I can only agree - criminal!

The cross is a fake and fits to 85% of the dealers medals. Most of them are fakes.
