    EK 1 Spange Boxed Beauty

I have known about this little bird for a long time.
    It has eventually landed here.
It was liberated by a lad from the Hampshire Regiment and has been in the family ever since.
    Apologies for the pictures

Nice original B.H. Mayer type. Good to know the story behind it.
          Best regards,
          Streptile

Not sure you can upgrade one like this...everything in mint shape.

                Looks real solid, and congratulations.

                Cheers,

                Glen

Very nice spange.I guess 'liberated' sounds a lot more respectable than 'looted'.

Fantastic example. I used to have one just like it. Sold it, and have regretted selling it ever since.

                        Enjoy,
                        Mike

                              That's a real beauty. I've got a really frosty 1914 B.H. Mayer
cross that would go nicely with it.
