Hello All,
I think I found an EK1 that may have been assembled using the "Gablonzer" method discussed in other threads and reference materials.
Although it is very difficult to photograph, there is no evidence of solder on the inside surfaces of the frame where it has separated. Under very close examination with various magnifications, there appears to be a narrow vein of "discoloration" along the inside surface of the frame tracing the path, where I assume the thin nickel-silver wire was pressed between the two frame halves.
An interesting piece which I wanted to share with the community.
I have posted pictures using both flash and natural lighting.
Enjoy,
Eric
