Is the bottom image of an 'earlier' type cross?

They only 'types' I know are reproduction and original.

Yours are both original.

I wouldn't suggest that either is an earlier cross - earlier crosses wouldn't feature the flaw in the '9'. Both crosses shown feature the flaw.
