...Nice to see that they are still with the family. I've known these pieces for years.

Martin Harlinghausen had the Spanien Cross and the Pilot Observer de-nazified so he could wear them in the Bundeswehr.

I was lucky to get the tombak version of his Spanien Cross with diamonds, ...the one that he wore every day during the wardays.
A picture of it can be seen in Niemann's guide.

Now the forum members can see a picture of a REAL SC with Diamonds and a REAL Pilot Observer with diamonds. A rare occasion.

P.S. The cross is the Godet version, Silver Gilded with real diamonds (Brilliant-cut).
