Very interesting S&L knight cross B-frame

IMO a S&L B-frame in very great quality... I have compared it to my 1957 first core B-frame... and this cross have much better finish and detail on the frame. Soo would say much earlier than 1957... Is this type one of them that is in the grey area between late war- early postwar???

The loop have a 800. The frame no markings... The core is magnetic.

    It have a inscription on the back 1-JG 51 OFW O. Schüller 18 9 44

I have no information on a O. Schüller... If someone is great informed on JG 51, and have something to add, it would be great. Anyway... I know it ofcourse could be a try for someone much later to higher the value of the cross???

    Best

No O. Schüller in Scherzer's book which makes me believe there was no such RK awardee. Another post war B-Type pimped to fool somebody.

          Thanks

          Thanks for the replys...

Well much more quality in hand.. Hard to make a good photo... Anyway
Late war or postwar... it fits nice in to my collection...

Yes the inscription is probably not good and done later.... if it means the date and name of a officiel awardee. I have no information about the past of this cross...

A very nice "line-up" of crosses.

The engraving clearly false and designed to fool, but the cross itself requires an in hand inspection. Certainly, an early "B" frame without raised beading flaws, the question being "how early?".

              Thanks

Exactly my toughts about this cross..... I dont like the inscription, but love the cross itself... I am pretty sure that it is much older than 1957... if that is 1944-49????

Either way I like the cross, and had a good idea of what I where buying
