L/18 marked spange

Just received this L/18 marked EKI Spange. It has a different pin/catch setup that is normally found on Mayer spanges. Jim

Not an expert but I have a few common ones and want to get more variants!
Common enough spange I beleive as I have seen many for sale but its the first time I've ever seen a marked one. Thanks for posting it.

Maybe a Schickle piece which were sold by B.H.Mayer.
I have the same version with L/15 maker's mark ;-)

So looks that Mayer got the Schickle parts after their exit from the business.

When I first bought it I thought it was a Schickle (I was only looking at the hardware) until a friend pointed out that it was marked. So now the search is still on for a Schickle. Thanks for all the comments. Jim
