    New Arrival

    Hello,

I am just curious how rare this cross is. I have searched through Gordon's book and can find no reference to Hymenn & Co (L/53) producing screwback EK1's. I have also searched the forum and can't find one either.

Does anyone else have one of these?

    Cheers,

    Craig.

There is only one L/53 ek1 in the EK1 rarity stats, so i'd say it's rare. If you need to know how rare other EK1s are just check here: http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...&page=10&pp=15

      Thanks for the reply.

I did see this, but wondered if it is a screwback or pinback?
Can anyone enlighten me? Why are there so few of this manufacturer's EK'S?

      Cheers,

      Craig.

If you had looked at the stats more carefully you would have seen that when an listed EK1 is a screwback, it says "screwback".

I did notice that, but wasn't sure if it was an omission.

I just find it difficult to believe, that amongst all of the EK's we ALL have between us, that this is the only screwback L/53 EK1 out of, well thousands of EK's. Not only that, but there appear to be only 2 L/53 EK's amongst everyone's crosses.

Why are they so rare? Why aren't they noted in Gordon's book?

          Cheers,

          Craig.

Well, if every member posted their crosses, you could say that, but it's still very rare.
