    German cross in gold

This cased german cross in gold belongs to a friend of mine. It has a „20“ production stamp. All opinions over the cross/ case and the market value are most welcome.

    Cincerely,
    Der Jäger

This cross was awarded to a Hauptmann Sartorius who obviously served in a panzer-unit. All comments over the cross, the case, the belonging document and the total market value are most welcome.

    Cincerely,

IMO it looks like a typical Zimmermann 20 and it also looks like someone have tried to clean the backside with steel wool

Not positive of course, but would this failed cleaning attempt have a rather large effect on the total market value of this lot?
