                  The one I saw in person looked very, very good. If you didn't have some reference available to you, or had actually memorized every single minute characteristic (which most of us, including me, have not), you could very easily believe one of these.

                                Ludwig - Is your link to Hermann Historica the same cross? The one that started this is on a site called Cowan's Auction.

                                In Post 40, if you look at the right side beading of the upper arm and compare them between the crosses, you will see a significant difference.
