year of this cross

Hope i have this in the right place i can nearly just about make out a W in the center and a crown on top, can anyone date this? please thanks in advance

It is a 1914 Iron Cross made some time between 1914 and, let's say, about 1939. Probably closer to 1914 - 1925, at a guess.

Thanks lads, even though she's in a very rough condition it's good to hear somethings genuine for a change, can't make out any ko markings on the ring, but am happy enough. best wishes.

Looks like it came from water and the ribbon is a replacement.
