Im posting this for a freind because I could not find a match to a maker and was wondering if it was a fake or just an unknown maker or if someone here knows the maker. Thanks for the help

It's interesting how the pin has been cut, I've run across several that were butchered in exactly the same way. It must have been done in a postwar POW camp so they couldn't be worn, probably before the denazification edict.

Interesting, I saw a lot EK1 pins cut in the middle too!
