    2 x EK1 - Help please!

    Hi All!

I am not really familar with Wehrmacht Awards as my field are normally belt buckles.

These two salty EK1 crossed recently my way and I would like to hear your opinions if they are original!

Has anyone an idea about the maker of the brass core EK1?

    Best regards,
    Guido

Two very 'common' EK1's, Steinhauer & Luck (mm 4) and the second is a Souval. both appear to be fine.

Hi. by going by the EKI book, the marked four is Steinhauer & Luck and the brass core unmarked is Souval, you can see the 'bird foot' tips to the frame,to me any way the pin set ups look ok,though like any thing its best seen in hand.John

In my opinion the pin on the Souval has been replaced.
                          Best regards,
