    Ribbon wit IC

I could not find a thread for my question to place so i try it here.
I have this ribbon woven with names and an Ic second class on it as well on the top a coat of arms. Does anybody know what it could be ?? I figure that the coat of arms might be from a division. The names could be receipients of the IC 2nd class. For any help i am thankful.

Just found out that those men are KC bearer of the IR. 77 and 78, IR 39 Pi.Btl 26 Pz.Jäg.Abt.26 etc. The coat of arms is from th IR 77. Interesting. Anyhow i wonder what is the means of that ribbon. Could it be an exlibris??

It is a bookmark that came with the Unit history book when first bought. There is a same or similar one someplace on the forum.

        Yes

Yes it is a bookmark. It is believed to be the town of Köln, honnouring the knight cross holders of the 26. Infanterie-Division. I guess produced before late 1943.
Some of the later KC holders are missing. The KC holder Kurt Matern where not maked with a cross(KIA).

Its a nice item... have one just like yours
