    Hi all,

I think this cross have a possability to be original (maybe the core is repainted??), but the decorations on the ribbon...I think these are complete fantasy?

          Deadhead

The deadhead is a panzer insignia.

The cross seems fine... if repaint??? it where done well... My guess from the pics. Would be original paint.

Do you think the insignia on the ribbon are applied post war?

Better close up would be good from the cross but IMO its by Friedrich Orth.

Unfortunately these are the only pictures which I received from the seller...

Do you think 89 Euro is a fair price for this EK or is this overprised?

If it is for the cross alone it's overpriced.
If the skull badge and the other thingy (really don't know what it's called though I know what it is...) come with it, the price is acceptable.

                        Yes

Yes it would probably have been done postwar... But it could be the vet himself, or someone how liberated the items... it would be a guess. But like the little story it tells, soo I would let it be as it is, if I where the buyer.

The skull is not my field, but think it looks promising. The price seems all right.

I like that the skull is sewed on and the stains on the ribbon. I think the other attachment is an Eastern People's award but I could be wrong on that. I like this piece..

Pip or more properly 'Rank Pip' is the correct term for the star.
