    Today i picked up this nice original Spain Cross - but someone have works with it......

        But at least you have the satisfaction of knowing it was proudly won and worn by a vet and not just sitting in a box or shelf since it was made.

          Yes its a original worn..and used after the war....! but its nothing for my collection...so i will put it in the E-Stand....

              Hi Ludwig, i mean...someone works with it - and takes all swastika from the Cross.....its de-nazificed !!!!!

                We were recently talking about these on the 1957 awards board. They were not allowed to be worn in the post war era, so were not re made in the 1957 style. I posted a link to your pictures in the '57 forum as an idea of how a post war version probably would have looked. - hope thats OK.

                    Gents war-prisoners were allowed to wear their awards with no swastika, I guess it's one of them

                      yes i have the feeling this cross was butchered by someone other than the veteran as its a very crude denazification.

                      not the way I would expect a proud veteran to treat their award

                      just my opinion
