History channel question on Hitlers cross

I was watching the History channel and noticed Hitler was wearing his cross at an angle. Not like + but like this x . Would there be any reason for that?Thanks for any help or opinions.

It might be cause the cross had a screw and not a pin, so it "rotated" to that angle.

Or it might be (if it had a pin), that the pin opened and rotated to that angle. it's more likely IMO that the cross had a screw though.

Probably because it was a screw-back and just go it twisted while he became excited during his usual animated speeches.

That makes since.I just didnt know if that was the way he wore it all the time?He was walking around and doing his thing when I seen noticed it.Thanks guys.

The question has alway been: how many 1914 Iron Cross 1st Class did Hitler posssess? The cross Frau Winters received, from Hitler as a gift, was recently auctioned off in Germany. The Wolfe-Hardin collection has an original Hitler brown shirt with Blood Order and Iron Cross 1st Class. I am sure Hitler had more than oneIron Cross for wear ooon his uniforms.

I recall several dealers, in the late 1960s and early 1970s offering Hitler's iron Cross 1st Class. Of course, none could provide any solid proof.

As far as I am concerned, the Wolfe-Hardin brown shirt has impeccible provenance and is the set I would want to own, if I could afford the brown shirt.
