I just bought the Half Schinkel and the Souval Rounder ( I just call them that, n relation to the KC Fake)
They both share a packet which appears to be a Souval packet. I read the jump ring is left unsoldered on the HS cross and other Souvals share this trait. With the packet coming with these crosses would that point the HS cross out as very possibly being made by Souval?

Hard to say Dion.
Lots of early crosses have a ring that is only soldered on one side.
Of course it is possible that Souval made them, but if the other cross in the envelope is a Souval, I would presume the other cross and the envelope are a set.Comment

Left cross is now called the "Unknown Maker Schinkel" since we now know it is not a "half-Schinkel," but we also don't know the maker yet.
The other one (on the Right) is by maker 60.

I know its a recognized Schinkel form , its just the name Half Schinkel is really catchy and Ive heard it for years. Its just habit. Need a catchier name for it!

The packet is K&Q, but I doubt it has anyhing to do with both crosses.
They came in and I was surprised to see some nice frosting on The Schinkel Form ( Notice I referred to it as a Shinkel Trevor)
