    Didn't see before! EK1 20 Set ;-)

    Hello again ;-)

Usual I saw a lot of Zimmermann marked on the inner pin!

But did you see this type too? It's nearly mint

Finally a real Zimmermann, what you can identified without opening the pin setup

                  Hi,

there are no doubts that this is an original piece in very nice condition by Zimmermann.

I never saw a piece which is stamped not Inside. Therfore my question if the it could be that it's "aftersamped"

                    Hi again,

im afreid about my bad english. One comes from the exercise very fast. Faster than I thought.

The sentence in the secon part of my posting should have been like this: Therfore my question if it could be that the piece is "aftersamped"

                    Kind Regards

                      Hi my friends in collecting,

is there nobody who want's to diskuss if my question about the possibillity that somwebody stamped the 20 mark for Zimmermann after the wartime to pimp the value.

I would be very pleased if one (ore more) of you give me an answer.

                          Nice Set

With out a doubt a Zimmerman die and hardware. I have a lot of this maker in my collection. The #20 mark is the correct die also. I have just never seen it on the outside. This one would be a good one for the next EK book.

                            Hi Andreas,

                            everything is possible, either way.
There is always a possibility that a mm is added later, but you do find markings in unusual spots from time to time.
I have an L/10 SB marked on the disc, an L/52 pinback marked in the center of the reverse, and an L/50 PB that is marked on the pin below the catch.
I know there must be many more exceptions to the rule.

Since the "20" is the correct style, I don't doubt that it is authentic to this cross.

                            Best regards,
                            Ben

I agree with Ben -- I think this is just an example of an interesting placement of the correct mark. A very nice cross I would be happy to own.

As a side note, it's hilarious that "pimp" has become a verb -- known and used in Europe no less!
