New EK Display Case

Thought I'd post this here as well as collections forum.
The case is made from Flame -grained Birch wood, stunning IMHO.

Thanks. Why do you say better in Oak? Do you mean you prefer oak?
I've made them from Red and White Oak, figured Oak(curly oak), quarter sawn and rift sawn oak, but Oak just doesn't have the beauty that Birch has imho.
