i can't see a fake. looks good to me. maybe better pictures will help.

I have taken another look, but I think you are right.
There is a fake doing the rounds, originally sold by a shop for reenactors that is very similar.
The date looks exactly the same as in this pic, but it might be the quality of the pic in this case.

Better pics are needed.

The frame is Souval, the reverse is Souval. I Think it is a genuine Souval.
