I think it looks just fine. I've seen so many different pin types on originals that nothing really surprises me anymore on a Mayer.

I'll be honest with you Trevor, I don't think the "1" or the "3" in the date match between the two - at least not on the top portions.

That being said, I NOT versed on Spangen, so maybe they're acceptable deviations.

Sorry, I think I was unclear.

I think Mike's Spange is a good Mayer, but Lubo suggested it looked like a Raptor fake instead. The one I posted is a Raptor fake (mine, actually) to compare, and I agree with you: it does not match Mike's.
