    First pattern EK2 spange

    Hi Guys

Just got this one and was wondering if it is attributed to a maker? I think its a little different in the detail from those that are believed to be by Juncker?

    Many thanks

I know others might disagree, but I see a few things I find odd on this one.

I have tried to mark some of them here:

PS If possible, could you please try and take a photo of the edge of this Spange?

I thought that I could recognize them right away, but there are VERY good copies doing the rounds.

Tomorrow I will post picks of mine, not saying that that is the only good example, but to me it is a reference....

Juncker-stuff is expensive, and the copies are very good......

I think I can see a line running along the edge...gonna try to see if I can "highligt" that.

Here I have tried to mark a few of the "lines" I see.

I still think that it is a repro, sorry.

Hi Flemming, that line you are talking about is not a casting line as the clasp is struck, it is the edge where the cutting tool has contacted first with the metal, it doesn't show well on the photos, but with a casting you will see an obviou line running all the way round
